About The Position

Responsible for pre-admitting and admitting all direct admissions in the ER department-registration area: pre-registration and registration of all outpatient services (Laboratory, Radiology, EKG’s/EEG’s, One Day Surgeries, and Observation) and verification and/or pre-authorizations of hospital stay for reimbursement purposes.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Computer literate/knowledge (windows 95-98).
• Ability to use office machines, printers, PC, copier, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Business school graduate.
• College courses.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
