About The Position

Join Embark Behavioral Health - Vienna Outpatient Clinic as an Admissions Director and play a pivotal role in guiding families on their mental health journey. As the first point of contact, you will manage the admissions process, conduct initial client assessments, and represent our programs to parents, referents, and providers. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will help create meaningful outcomes for families and the community.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Full clinical licensure in Virginia (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) required.
  • 1–2 years of experience conducting behavioral health assessments.
  • Proficiency in administering suicide screening tools such as the C-SSRS.
  • Expertise in treating adolescents and teens, along with a deep understanding of the intersectionality of marginalized identities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Educate families and referral sources about services, facilitate admissions process, conduct intake assessments, and provide resources when appropriate.
  • Review insurance coverage and financial responsibilities with families to ensure transparency.
  • Work closely with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to coordinate admissions; supervise Case Managers; and participate in leadership meetings to align on strategy and census needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and BestNotes, complete required clinical documentation, and ensure all legal documents and consents are properly handled in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in special events, build relationships with referral partners, and collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to support tours and community engagement.
  • Perform clinical duties as needed, assist with application reviews, and complete all required training to support program needs and uphold quality care standards.
