About The Position
The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Admissions Counselor. The Admissions Counselor supports the overall UMA Enrollment Plan by assisting prospective students from the inquiry stage through the application process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to travel on behalf of the University
- Knowledge of customer relationship management systems
- Familiarity with the University of Maine System structure, policies, and procedures
- Must be authorized to work in and reside in the United States. Not able to consider applicants who require Visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree
- One or more years of experience in recruitment and/or admissions
- One or more years of experience with event/project planning
