About The Position

As an Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II at UW-Green Bay, you will play a key role in advancing our mission to provide access to education for all who want to learn while supporting student success across Northeast Wisconsin. Serving as a trusted guide for prospective and admitted students, you will build meaningful relationships, provide individualized admissions and academic advising, and represent a university committed to fearlessly meeting challenges, embracing diversity, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for learners from all backgrounds. In this highly visible role, you will leverage CRM technology, targeted communications, outreach partnerships, and engaging recruitment events to attract and enroll the next generation of Phoenix students. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, develop innovative recruitment strategies, evaluate program effectiveness, and deliver compelling messaging that reflects UW-Green Bay's brand as a university on the rise. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, database) and the Internet.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, student personnel, higher education or related field at time of application
  • Proficiency in speaking and reading in a second language, preferably Spanish, Hmong Somali or Oneida
  • Experience with software systems such as PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Image Now that support Admissions processes

Responsibilities

  • Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  • Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
  • Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
  • Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities
  • Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students
  • May supervise staff and/or lead a program area
  • Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
  • Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
