Responsibilities

• Identifying and recruiting students by visiting high schools, college fairs, and other locations.
• Assisting with various aspects of campus college admission events, including daily visits, visit days, open houses, admitted students days, and Duke days.
• Counseling prospective students and parents about the admission process, answering questions about the college or university, and advising students on program selections.
• Arranging and leading campus tours.
• Following up with students via email, text, phone, or letters.
• Working with other admissions counselors on projects, during events, and during travel season.
