About The Position
Our Admissions Counselors recruit and screen potential students, ages 16-24, for enrollment in the Job Corps program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), provides education, training and employment services to at-risk young adults.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications or related field OR Associate’s degree with two years related experience
- One year experience working with youth, sales, marketing or counseling
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach activities with agencies, organizations, schools and individuals
- Manage contacts and enter applicant tracking data
- Interview candidates to obtain pertinent information
- Maintain established monthly goals
- Arrange and conduct tours and pre-enrollment orientations.
