About The Position

This role is responsible for the timely support of student application processing in compliance with government and management directives. The Admissions Counselor will interview interested candidates, obtain required information, and ensure all necessary documents for eligibility are collected and included in the applicant's folder. They will maintain accountability logs, follow established plans and procedures to ensure contract compliance and achievement of outcomes, and meet or exceed student admissions goals. The position requires staying current with center statistics and maintaining continuous contact with the center for coordination and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field; or Associate’s degree and two years related experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team effort.
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, applicant tracking system, and ticketing software solution.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability logs of organizations contacted, individuals contacted, referrals to screening agencies and subsequent enrollments.
  • Follow established plans, procedures, systems, goals and objectives to ensure Job Corp Outreach & Admissions contract compliance and achievement of DOL established outcomes.
  • Meet or exceed student admissions goals each month.
  • Stay current with center statistics and maintain continuous contact with the center to coordinate efforts, discuss problems and develop resolutions.
