This position is primarily concerned with recruitment, yield, and enrollment of first-year college students into the David Eccles School of Business. This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions with support from the Undergraduate Admissions Director. Responsibilities Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description, and more specifically as outlined below: · Oversee the recruitment of prospective students in an efficient and effective admissions process, including planning on and off campus recruitment and U of U Office of Admissions events, coordinating on-campus visits, and working with other offices in the institution with respect to housing, financial aid, and enrollment of domestic and international students. · Participate in application reviews and provide insight on strategic direction for the admission of each academic class. · Represent the Eccles School of Business and specifically undergraduate admissions at U of U Office of Admissions events and during student on-campus visits. · Cultivate relationships with high school counselors, DECA and FBLA advisors, high school business teachers, key alumni, U of U Office of Admissions, and the U of U Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. · Assist in supervision of the student undergraduate recruitment and admissions team. · Prepare and deliver presentations at recruiting events and business competitions. · Work with alumni, faculty, and staff in domestic and international locations to develop, implement and maintain a Business Scholars program strategic recruitment and admissions plan. · Construct and analyze plans that measure the effectiveness of a strategic recruitment and admissions plan – including competence utilizing online survey and database programs. · Carry out special projects and other duties as assigned. · Be knowledgeable of information systems and technologies, including social media and CRM systems. · Present advanced skills in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint. · Utilize Qualtrics (or equivalent program) as an analytical, survey and database tool. · Candidates will also be expected to travel up to 30% of time spent on the job. Travel will be dependent upon recruiting season and Business Scholar Program needs. Travel will be required on nights and weekends
