About The Position

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the admissions process within the facility. This role involves interacting with potential residents, families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth admissions. The position is with MediLodge of Haggerty Road, which is Michigan's largest provider of long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services. MediLodge focuses on fostering a positive culture where employees feel valued and have opportunities for growth, offering regular employee recognition and career development. They were also the recipient of the 2023 Michigan Employer of the Year Award.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in a position requiring customer relations or customer service.
  • Associate and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Communications field preferred.
  • Two years equivalent experience in a customer relations position or Admissions Coordinator position in lieu of degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous healthcare community relation’s experience preferred.
  • A background in community involvement is preferred.
