POSITION SUMMARY The Admissions Coordinator/Financial Counselor processes admissions and registrations to include all consent forms signed, financial assessment of patients, self-pay liability, insurance verification, up-front deposits/collections, and data integrity. The incumbent also communicates benefit information to patients, family, staff, and provides a high degree of customer service.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
Complete knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years' experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
