About The Position

Keystone Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated Admissions Assistant to join our mission-driven team supporting individuals seeking Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compassionate environment and is committed to helping clients take their first steps toward recovery. The Admissions Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and families seeking treatment, guiding them through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and clarity. This role involves discussing funding options, insurance coverage, and financial responsibilities, as well as coordinating transportation logistics to ensure safe and timely arrival for treatment. The position requires collaboration with clinical, administrative, and outreach teams to support smooth admissions, while maintaining accurate documentation and upholding confidentiality standards. The role also includes participating in a rotating weekend schedule to support 7-day admissions needs.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to speak with clients in crisis with compassion
  • Comfort discussing financial matters, insurance benefits, and payment options
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a dynamic environment
  • A commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journey
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, customer service, or admissions is a plus
  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and families seeking treatment
  • Guide individuals through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and clarity
  • Discuss funding options, insurance coverage, and financial responsibilities
  • Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure safe and timely arrival for treatment
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and outreach teams to support smooth admissions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
  • Participate in a rotating weekend schedule to support 7‑day admissions needs
  • Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
  • May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
  • May direct and lead the work of others.
  • May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
  • Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.
  • Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
  • May cover the reception desk when required.
  • Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
