About The Position

The Admissions Advisor position is responsible for enrolling qualified students into the school’s programs. This includes taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to inquiring prospective students, following up consistently with inquiries, interviewing and touring as well as managing enrollment activity and paperwork, and properly completing student files.

Requirements

  • At minimum the candidate should have attained the highest degree level the campus offers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using a personal/laptop computer and standard office equipment.
  • Competent in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and web-based platforms.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Upbeat, professional, and a collaborative team player.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Highly dependable, adaptable, empathetic, and self-aware.
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.
  • Able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor, even under pressure or in stressful situations.
  • Willing and able to work flexible schedules—including day, evening, and weekend hours—as needed to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Prior experience in admissions or a sales-related role is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner with students, staff, vendors, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting qualified students for the school’s programs in a compliant, appropriate, and professional manner.
  • Utilizing only company approved materials during the phone, interview, and enrollment process.
  • Significant outbound and inbound calling efforts.
  • Following up on all inquiries who have not scheduled an appointment and inquiries who did not show for their interview.
  • Interviewing and touring with prospective students to determine their needs, interests, and motivations for attending school; understanding their career goals and addressing any concerns that might prevent them from starting or completing their education; assisting them with identifying the program that best matches their needs.
  • Providing information to students on the school’s programs and entrance requirements, including the application process, policies, procedures, and documentation regarding the admissions requirements.
  • Guiding prospective students through the admissions process once they decide to enroll, addressing questions, scheduling appointments for them to meet with financial aid, gathering all the documents necessary to start school, and ensuring students complete the admissions testing.
  • Upholding enrollment standards by complying with related governmental regulations and standards of accreditation, and by enrolling qualified students who meet admissions requirements as published in the school’s catalog.
  • Following up with interviews who did not progress in the enrollment process or cancelled students to assist in resolving any issues and addressing concerns.
  • Achieving productivity goals based on campus needs.
  • Generating referrals.
  • Completing daily activity reports.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all business records and information.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
