About The Position
NHC HealthCare Garden City is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Admissions Nurse. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the very first moment a patient enters our care.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Completing pre-admission screenings and providing a thorough medical assessment
- Collecting and documenting each patient’s medical history
- Ensuring all required forms, insurance information, and paperwork are complete and accurate
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support a smooth and efficient admission process
- Performing other duties as assigned
