About The Position

Field Studies Council Castle Head is seeking an Administrator to support their busy outdoor learning centre. This part-time role offers varied work, a friendly team, and the chance to spend breaks surrounded by nature. The position involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the learning location and creating a welcoming experience for visiting schools and groups. The role also includes participation in a duty/on-call rota, requiring some evenings and overnight stays on-site to handle customer issues and emergencies.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by phone and email, always delivering professional and friendly service
• Managing course bookings and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in booking systems
• Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office and wider team
• Assisting with the promotion of programmes to customers, stakeholders, and partners
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the centre and supporting nearby locations when needed
• Participating in the duty/on-call rota, which involves staying on site on some evenings and overnight to deal with customer issues and respond to emergencies.
