Administrator- Addictions Facility
About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a seasoned administrator with experience in HR, payroll, Joint Commission or CARF accreditation, and developing/implementing processes. Experience in residential care, SUD, or psych is a plus. This role provides complete executive leadership to the facility, focusing on daily operations, profitability, morale, and recruiting. The administrator will address all staffing needs, drive admissions and retention through census management, oversee admissions and discharge processes, conduct weekly departmental reviews, and ensure compliance with all federal and state accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, with focus on business administration preferred
- Minimum one-year experience in addiction treatment industry preferred
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills
- Ability to problem solve and think critically
- Honest, dignified and respectable character which models recovery principles

Responsibilities
- Provide complete executive leadership to facility - daily operations, profitability, morale, recruiting, etc.
- Address all staffing needs - hiring, training, retention, licensure, scheduling, payroll etc. - to maintain smooth HR function
- Drive admissions and retention through impeccable census management
- Oversee all aspects of admissions and discharge process
- Conduct weekly reviews of all departments and provide ongoing evaluation to ensure maximum communication, efficiency and accountability
- Oversee daily operations of administrative, residential, clinical, and medical departments
- Maintain professional relationships with all external business contacts
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state accreditation requirements
