Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising others in a health care facility, PAS agency or community-based agency
  • Experienced in the use of a gait belt, Hoyer lift, and able to perform all transfer types; including ability to perform a total lift if necessary
  • Valid driving license and current automobile insurance require. (Dependable vehicle is required)
  • Ability to direct, coach, and/or discipline others as needed
  • Professional phone voice and appearance
  • Have completed two years of full-time study at an accredited college or university. (An individual with a high school diploma or GED may substitute one year of full-time employment in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility, agency, or community-based agency for each required year of college) ; or
  • Be a licensed nurse in Texas.
  • Proficient typing skills required

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisor experience in healthcare, medical practice management, or healthcare administration experience (home-care or hospice a plus).
  • Expert user with Microsoft, Google Workspace, WellSky (ClearCare), CareerPlug, Canva, Adobe, and other cloud based systems.
  • Strong marketing/growth mindset.
  • Organized multitasker who can pivot from payroll questions to scheduling without losing focus.
  • Professional, friendly communicator—written and verbal—with all levels of staff and clients.
  • The ideal candidate will have a positive, upbeat attitude at all times when dealing with the public, clients and their families, and other team members. This is not solely an office position. Schedule may vary week to week, so flexibility is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Train new employees how to provide personal care duties upon hire, train employees in the field, train employees how to use software: such as clocking in/out, updating tasks, etc.
  • Conduct in person new employee onboarding
  • Daily documentation of calls, chart notes in electronic record, and update personal dashboard
  • Reevaluate and update the Individualized Service Plan with the client's input that will meet the client's needs and improve his/her functional abilities
  • Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Conduct office staff meetings as required
  • Scheduling care using custom match criteria
  • General office duties such as filing, mailing, faxing etc.
