About The Position

This role involves performing clinical care activities, both direct and indirect, for patients within the scope of practice laws and received training. It also includes engaging in administrative activities such as maintaining records or supplies to enhance the coordination, preparation, and flow of the patient care experience. The position requires a strong understanding of basic or essential practice areas like documentation, coordination, and communication, adhering to training standards. Effective, respectful communication is essential. The work environment should be safe, engaging, and supportive, with an emphasis on responsible resource utilization and continuous self-development. The role also mandates maintaining knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and the Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, ensuring honest, ethical, and professional behavior and safe work practices. As a PS IV – senior, the individual will provide pharmacy interventions and apply clinical knowledge in decision-making, participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy care solutions, and perform delegated focused pharmacy care autonomously. They may administer therapeutic treatments within their scope of practice and license. This role involves direct and essential pharmacy care or supportive activities as part of an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating a deeper understanding and theoretical knowledge. The individual is expected to perform activities with general oversight, contributing to safe outcomes through personal contributions, teamwork, and initiatives. They may also serve as a knowledge resource, role model, mentor, or lead/coordinate/supervise direct and essential pharmacy care activities or service responsibilities for other healthcare professionals within their licensed scope of practice.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Specialty license, licensure, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement.
  • Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Responsibilities
