About The Position

Supervises and coordinates all day-to-day activities relating to nursing care throughout the hospital. Demonstrates ability in leadership and basic management/supervisory skills. Superior assessment and judgment skills essential. Excellent clinical skills required with critical care experience preferred.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience which is shown to be progressively responsible.
  • Demonstrated ability in leadership and basic management/supervisory skills.
  • Superior assessment and judgment skills essential.
  • Excellent clinical skills required with critical care experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • MSN with minimum of 6 months supervisory experience or BSN/Diploma with 2 years nursing experience and minimum of 6 months supervisory experience, or ADN with 2 years nursing experience with 1 year supervisory experience required.
  • Supervisory experience may be obtained through coursework in supervision/management or actual work experience.
  • Current SC RN license in good standing required.
  • BLS & ACLS certification required.

  • 6 years progressive work experience and 1 years management experience
  • State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
