About The Position

The Administrative Assistant completes basic office administrative tasks and ordering while providing office coverage for the Oneida Plant location. The incumbent also assists other departments with daily tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in administrative/office work
  • Experience in financial/accounting processes a
  • Exceptional math and computer skills, specifically MP2, MS Excel, Office &
  • Strong communication skills, detail orientated, solid decision making, ability to work independently with little
  • Abel to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills

Responsibilities

  • Request new vendor setup as needed.
  • Create purchase order information as well as oversee purchase order management.
  • Solicit quotes, order and maintain adequate supplies for plant maintenance
  • Manage incoming order of parts (enter inventory and update MP2)
  • Place orders, track purchases and maintain budgets
  • Create and generate preventive maintenance actions in alignment with the department Managers and Supervisors.
  • Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory.
  • Proficiently use various computer programs to compile information and create
  • Ability to be cross trained in other functional areas of the Oneida
