About The Position

We are looking for an Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our team. This role is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and ability to successfully become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. The AIT will direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities. The length of the program depends on state regulations, past work experience, and Administrator Preceptor evaluations. Requirements

1-3 years’ experience in long-term care
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to thrive in a complex environment
Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people professionally and respectfully
Ability to understand and follow regulations
Ability to adapt and handle pressure
Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or related field with supervisory background
Bachelor's degree specifically in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (or related field)
