About The Position

The Administrator-In-Training (AIT) program at National HealthCare Corporation (NHC) is an immersive 2-year comprehensive program designed to develop skilled nursing home administrators. This paid program provides 360° operational training in clinical, finance, HR, and compliance, alongside leadership development and licensure preparation based on the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) Domains of Practice. The program requires relocation within any of the 8 states where NHC operates: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Healthcare or Business Administration preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
  • Knowledgeable in gerontology and/or hands-on experience in working with the geriatric population
  • Ability and willingness to relocate within NHC operating states (Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia)
  • Submit a resume and cover letter indicating aspiration to become a nursing home administrator.

Responsibilities
