Responsibilities
Reviews trust instruments and benefit plans to determine the bank’s responsibility as trustee.
Consults with external customers (i.e., corporate officers, attorneys, actuaries, beneficiaries, etc.) concerning account preparation, document review and/or general account supervision and servicing.
Consults with internal customers (i.e., investment, operations and trust personnel) on the resolution of specific account record keeping and transaction processing issues.
Reviews accounts periodically to ensure their conformity to current customer needs and objectives recommending and making changes as appropriate.
Answers questions from all levels of customer companies relating to the administration of employee benefit accounts.
Reviews and recommends new account applications.
Keeps informed of pending and changed legislation and regulations impacting the employee benefit trust field.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
