The administrator is responsible for ensuring continuous quality improvement, fostering a safe environment for patients, and managing human resources through effective selection, development, and performance evaluation. Financial stewardship includes managing expenses, revenue cycles, and providing financial analysis to senior management. Resource planning involves budget preparation, efficiency evaluations, and prioritizing capital needs. The position also focuses on customer/patient loyalty by investigating and resolving concerns, acting as a change agent for patient-focused care, and maintaining compliance with all relevant licensure, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Professional practice involves continuous improvement of care standards, and committee support includes leadership in organizational committees and board meetings. The administrator advises the Executive Team on best practices, acts as a spokesperson for patient-related issues, and creates an environment that inspires collaboration. They partner with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency, and uphold quality and compliance standards. Other duties as assigned.
