About The Position

Our client in Boston, MA is looking for a Administrative Support to join their team at their Comprehensive treatment center. This position will initially be temporary to provide coverage during an employee’s medical leave. There is potential for the role to become permanent if employee does not return. Overview: The Administrative Support I role is responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions in alignment with the clinic’s established office procedures. Responsibilities may include answering telephones, billing, typing/word processing, operating office equipment, and filing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative duties in accordance with clinic office procedures, including:
  • Answering telephones
  • Billing support
  • Typing and word processing
  • Operating office machines
  • Filing and document organization
  • Operate front desk duties during peak hours or when primary staff are unavailable
  • Sort, organize, and maintain office records
  • Assist with new patient enrollment processes
  • Provide support with insurance and billing reports as needed
  • Assist with patient drug testing procedures, when required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, confidentiality standards, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, guests, and healthcare team members
  • Demonstrate therapeutic rapport with patients while maintaining professional boundaries, respect for personal space, and rational detachment
  • Build and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across the team
  • Foster mutual trust, respect, and collaboration among team members
