About The Position

Under supervision of the Business Office Manager, responsible for accurate data entry of accounts payables, including check delivery/mailing and filing. Provides administrative support to the accounting and human resources departments and assists with the preparation of reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Knowledge of accounts payables
  • Experience with data systems and data entry
  • Experience with Microsoft office, proficient with Excel and Word.
  • Reading, written communications, and understanding of accounts payable principles and practices.
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
  • Strong Math aptitude
  • Using standard office equipment
  • Maintaining records and preparing reports
  • Prioritizing and completing work projects.
  • Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors etc., sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work directions.

Nice To Haves

  • Great Plains Dynamics Accounting software preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll software helpful

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting department, including accurate data entry of accounts payable using Great Plains software, as well as filing, record preparation, and assistance with records retention.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including data entry, filing of seasonal paperwork, and organizing files.
  • Provide administrative support to the Business Administrator, Assistant Director, and Executive Director as assigned.
  • Assist with packing, sorting, boxing, bagging, and organizing items for relocation.
  • Utilize Webster, ADP, and Great Plains to collect and analyze data, and produce reports, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials to support administrative needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
