What you'll do on a typical day Administrative Support Staff, Copy Center Services reports to the Director, Operational Accounting and performs the following functions: Copies materials on a campus wide basis, which are sent in by faculty and staff and performs other copy related duties, including binding, padding, laminating, setting up and printing business cards and door inserts, athletics items, programs etc. Orders supplies & maintains a central supply inventory, including paper, markers, toners, file folders, etc. Sends supplies via campus mail as requested daily Prepares paper distribution report Conducts & prepares an annual physical inventory, including cost of central supply inventory & total annual copies Prepares quarterly invoices to various organizations as needed Assists with switchboard, and vehicle checkout as needed Assists with Fixed Asset inventory processes year round Assists with surplus sales process for all Davidson Davie Community College locations Assists with Business Office processes Serves on College committees & attends College and division meetings and events Processes incoming and outgoing mail daily Maintains office equipment Performs other duties as assigned, which support the purpose and initiatives of the College Your attributes Required: Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent related experience Skill in the use of computers and commitment to using technology Familiarity with MS Office Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively and collegially with others Familiarity with and appreciation for the mission of a comprehensive community college Effectiveness in the following College organizational competencies: Translating College purpose, values, and vision into organizational action Collaborating and facilitating Creating and innovating Anticipating and responding to change Providing vision and leadership Preferred: Work experience using printing press or advanced copiers Experience selling items to the public via an online platform Work environment ADA requirements for this position include critical thinking skills with the ability to process information and exercise good judgment; ease of mobility within the work environment and other areas of campus and College locations; travel between campus locations may be required; and effective use of all forms of communication (auditory, visual, oral), including use of computers.
