The Administrative Support Professional provides administrative management, office automation, budget, and program analysis at the Center for Information Warfare Training N7, Pensacola, Florida.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, handle stress and deliver professional results.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receives validated requirements for NAVIFOR personnel to participate in annual and aperiodic training in support of operational and professional requirements.
  • Selects suitable (i.e., best value; appropriately timed; appropriate language, level and learning focus) venues to satisfy Type Commander (TYCOM) validated training requirements to sustain and enhance individual proficiency, technical acumen, and overall readiness of the NAVIFOR community.
  • Coordinate with training providers, Command training coordinators, Command Language Program Managers (CLPM), and individuals to plan and schedule training and associated travel, as required.
  • Prepare and submit funding documents (e.g., requisitions, SF-182s, contract task orders) to effect training.
  • Perform Routing/Reviewing Official (RO) functions within the Defense Travel Service for Requests for Travel.
  • Calculate all request travel costs, showing breakdown of travel cost, entitlements and miscellaneous amounts and maintain all required documentation.
  • Maintain annual budget, logging individual expenditures, tracking execution rates, and keeping supervisor apprised of potential under/over execution.
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of Inter-service Support Agreements, Education Service Agreements, and Contracts necessary to provide training under the DFLP-N in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Evaluate cost data associated with foreign language and technical tradecraft training to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of the DFLP-N.
  • Develop and implement plans for measuring training effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports detailing return on investment (ROI) and recommending adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Using execution data from previous fiscal year, prepares annual training budget for DFLP-N.
  • Recommends exclusion or inclusion of budget line items for goods and services planned, but not executed in previous year.
  • Ensure adherence to all company safety rules and SOPs in area of responsibility.
  • Rectify unsafe actions and/or conditions immediately
  • Participate in maintaining safe work environment by sharing and participating in all safety related meetings, training, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
