About The Position

We are looking for an Administrative Support Assistant (ASA) to join our Firm. This position is an entry-level role that is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for attorneys and their assistants throughout the Firm. ASAs must successfully complete an in-depth training and mentoring program to gain the ability to work in all practice groups of the Firm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to embrace new technology and platforms (including AI tools).
  • Desire and ability to learn new programs and processes quickly.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, with careful attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior legal or administrative experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and format correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents.
  • Proofread documents for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel.
  • Enter attorney time for billing and assist with monthly billing processes.
  • Handle expense reimbursements, check requests, and invoice processing.
  • Perform general clerical tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
  • Proactively support the assigned team and demonstrate willingness to upskill and learn with others.
  • Assist others on team, as needed, to manage client deadlines.
  • Maintain regular and predictable in-office attendance.
