About The Position
This is an entry-level School-to-Work role supporting the purchasing team at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, IN. This opportunity provides hands-on experience supporting the Technical Sourcing Team with key Value Product Introduction (VPI) activities. The role utilizes a basic knowledge of supply chain management and engineering principles to support technical sourcing product development activities and tactical work for the technical sourcing team.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assisting with supplier communications
- Creating Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
- Initiating should-cost and PPAP requests
- Updating purchasing and cost tracking documents
- Supporting engineering releases
- Setting up new parts in procurement systems for manufacturing and aftermarket operations
