As a Administrative Specialist based in Austin, TX, you will play a critical role in supporting a federal government client by ensuring accurate data management and administrative support across complex case files and investigative packages.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including spreadsheet and word processing tools
  • Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets
  • Experience entering, extracting, and retrieving data from databases
  • English proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reviewing and analyzing data from multiple sources
  • Experience maintaining and managing case or project files in both paper and electronic formats
  • Experience preparing and formatting management or program reports
  • Experience reconciling data inconsistencies and correcting reports or correspondence

Responsibilities

  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to support federal government operations
  • Maintaining physical and electronic case files, ensuring completeness and proper execution
  • Entering, extracting, and retrieving data from databases for case management and reporting
  • Obtaining additional information from investigative agencies and databases as needed
  • Receiving, suspensing, and processing petitions, claims, and requests
  • Reconciling inconsistencies and organizing investigative packages
  • Verifying case files and tracking systems for accuracy
  • Conducting and reconciling reports, and distributing documents including court documents
  • Assisting lead analysts and officials in collecting documentation to complete case files
  • Providing administrative support and case information to investigative agencies, local law enforcement, U.S. Attorney, DOJ processing units, and higher headquarters
  • Extracting data for management and program reports
  • Performing word processing and data entry related to case documentation
