Do you like working with the public? Do you enjoy a face-paced work environment? Are you a self-motivated, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented team player? If this sounds like you, then you might be the ideal candidate for the Administrative Specialist III position open in the Murray Trial Office of the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. In this important role in Kentucky’s largest criminal defense firm, you will be acting as both a liaison between attorneys, clients, and other members of the community, as well as an administrative assistant to the office’s supervisor. You will also be expected to draft and edit a variety of documents and reports, so excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - are a must. Time management skills are also valued as the ideal candidate will be handling multiple time-sensitive tasks for various attorneys, and the ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and complete requested duties independently. Our clients are people not able to afford an attorney who the government has charged with criminal offenses in Calloway, Graves and Marshall Counties. Compassion for our clients and commitment to our mission are critical characteristics for the successful candidate.
