About The Position

The Washington County Sheriff's Office – Jail Division is looking for a Senior Administrative Specialist to join our Administration Team! This position provides high-level administrative support to the Jail Command leadership team and members within the Jail Division. The work will span a wide variety of responsibilities, including developing and maintaining communication such as meeting agendas and minutes, drafting documents, supporting calendar management and meeting scheduling, preparing reports, forms, and presentations, and providing overall administrative support.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience providing administrative or clerical support.
  • Selected candidate must pass a post-offer drug screen
  • The selected finalist(s) for this position must be able to pass a thorough background investigation conducted by the Sheriff's Office.
