About The Position

CACI is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Branch Chief and a high functioning, fast paced team of professionals. The administrative assistant undertakes a wide variety of duties and tasks as necessary to assist the branch chief and MSSE team and must have the ability to prioritize competing tasks and work effectively in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • HS degree or GED and 3 years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Proficient in MS Office software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook: Mail, Calendar, and MS Teams) with the ability to independently use these applications to efficiently complete office administrative tasks

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests, as well as performing routine administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
  • May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.
  • Manage calendar and phone calls, resolve scheduling conflicts, and act as a liaison for all correspondence/coordination as required
  • Answer facility phone inquiries, direct calls to the proper activity, and provide basic program/project information as requested
  • Preview memos for consistency, policies, and appropriate format
  • Prepare, edit, and/or review taskers, organizational charts, memos and other general office documents and material as required
  • Arrange travel, accommodations, itineraries, and all correspondence related to arrangements as needed via Defense Travel System (DTS) (including OCONUS travel)
  • Act as the personnel training coordinator, managing all training schedules, maintaining training records, and ensure training comp
  • Provide administrative support to the Experimentation Division and oversee the MSSE contract team located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD and Camp Smith, HI.
  • Develops plans for the integration of day-to-day and long-range projects, actions, and activities.
  • Manage personnel accountability reporting, timekeeping (including auditing), and schedule via Manpower Information Retrieval and Reporting System (MIRARS), Automated Time, Attendance, and Production System (ATAAPS), and staff calendars
  • Perform budget and purchasing functions as required for CWEPS and managing all office supplies and equipment
  • Manages all personnel account requests and assists with issues as required
  • Acts as lab personnel liaison to assist in resolving IT issues as needed
  • Manages all personnel in-processing and out-processing coordination, and associated documentation such as MSR and SAARs, and assist with new employee orientation
  • Coordinate and attend weekly staff meetings, document, compile, and track meeting notes.
