About The Position

This position provides advanced administrative support to the Population Management Office, with a primary focus on coordinating virtual hearings for incarcerated individuals statewide and assisting with the safekeeper admission process. The role requires strong organization, professional communication, discretion, and independent judgment while working with a diverse group of stakeholders, including judicial officials, attorneys, court personnel, law enforcement agencies, DAC staff and leadership, and external partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the statewide virtual hearings calendar for all correctional facilities
  • Schedule and coordinate virtual hearings, ensuring proper notice, connectivity, and participation.
  • Serve as a liaison between DAC facilities and external stakeholders, including judges, attorneys, clerks of court, and law enforcement.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and ensuring necessary resources (e.g., technology and space) are in place.
  • Track and document hearings, attendance, outcomes, and any technical issues.
