About The Position

Salient is a fast-growing technology company building software for financial services teams. We support high-volume customer communication and operational workflows, and this role helps ensure everything runs smoothly day to day. As Administrative & Operations Support, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound phone calls and routine requests, while also supporting document and follow-up workflows. This is a role where you will directly support important processes and gather insights that will support Salient’s product strategy.

Requirements

  • Clear spoken and written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Calm and professional demeanor
  • No prior industry experience required

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls regarding account-related information from customers
  • Provide clear, friendly, and professional responses, referring to information on internal systems and documentation
  • Explain timelines, next steps, and basic information to callers
  • Escalate complicated questions/feedback when needed
  • Prepare and send documents for signature
  • Track document completion and follow up as needed
  • Help ensure routine workflows move forward on time
  • Review and route inbound emails
  • Handle simple exceptions or edge cases
  • Maintain accurate notes and provide feedback on recurring issues
