About The Position

Administrative Office Temp Pool - Marketing & Communications Focus Position Details: Location: Chestnut Hill, MA – Onsite Length of Assignment: Varies based on assignment and hours per week worked Hours: 5–30 hours per week, depending on availability and demand Hourly Range: $23-25. Salary commensurate with relevant experience. The Administrative Office Temp Pool provides temporary administrative, secretarial, and office support across various departments at Boston College. Individuals in this pool may be placed in short-term or long-term assignments based on organizational needs. Assignment length is typically determined at the time of the departmental request but may be extended or concluded earlier depending on business needs. Boston College is currently seeking individuals interested in joining our Temporary Office Pool who bring experience in Marketing and Communications for upcoming short-term and long-term assignments across a variety of departments. Potential Responsibilities Develop and design newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Draft and edit communications for faculty, students, alumni, and staff Support email marketing efforts using platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact or Hubspot Assist with event planning and coordination, including logistics and on-site support (CVent) Create PowerPoint/Canva or Keynote presentations and update digital platforms to ensure brand consistency Provide administrative and front-facing office support as needed Candidates in the temp pool may be contacted for interviews if their skills match an opening. Participation in the pool does not guarantee placement.

Requirements
