About The Position

AAMCO OF FORT PIERCE / PSL FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT AAMCO Fort Pierce is looking for a reliable, high-energy front office assistant who can handle the pace of a busy automotive shop and contribute to a professional, customer-first environment. This is not a passive receptionist role. This position is for someone who can manage flow, communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and show up ready to work every day. SCHEDULE • Monday through Friday (full-time) • Saturday REQUIRED: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM If Saturdays are an issue, this is not the right position. COMPENSATION • Starting at $18/hour • 90-day probation period • Performance-based SPIFF / bonus structure activated after probation WHY AAMCO FORT PIERCE We take pride in how we operate. Requirements

  • Someone who shows up on time, every time
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Able to type efficiently and accurately for notes, repair orders, and customer communication
  • Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps for photos, messaging, and workflow tools
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Social maturity – you know how to talk to people and represent a business
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive or parts experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones with professionalism and urgency
  • Greeting customers and setting the tone when they walk in
  • Checking in vehicles accurately (mileage, condition, customer concerns, documentation)
  • Photographing vehicles during intake for documentation and internal records
  • Managing paperwork, repair orders, and daily workflow
  • Communicating clearly with service advisors and technicians
  • Keeping the front office clean, structured, and organized
  • Assisting with customer updates and general shop coordination
