About The Position

Quality Staffing, Inc., also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search, a leading full-service employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the area's top companies, is looking for an experienced Administrative Services Manager to work through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Nashville, TN. This is a hybrid position working from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hour. Administrative Manager Job Description: The Tennessee Department of Health, Division of Health Disparities Elimination, is seeking an Administrative Services Manager to support the Assistant Commissioner of the Division of Health Disparities Elimination. This role will assist with administrative and business operations, contract development and revisions, and maintain fiscal accountability for contracts. This position will work closely with division and office directors to manage administrative and fiscal functions, including reviewing contractors' financial reports and making recommendations to align expenditures with approved budgets. The role will also include general administrative support to ensure smooth program operations. Some in-person attendance will be required for this position so candidate must be local to the Nashville area.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree; up to four (4) years of increasingly responsible full-time subprofessional, paraprofessional, or professional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Five (5) or more years of increasingly responsible professional administrative experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience monitoring budgets and expenditures.
  • Ability to think strategically and critically to achieve program outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, edit, and finalize meeting minutes; maintain electronic records and distribute documents to staff and partners.
  • Review, monitor, and analyze budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with funding requirements.
  • Oversee, as needed, and track general service/goods contracts and other documents for competitive procurement processes through completion.
  • Perform a wide range of administrative tasks, including routine correspondence, assembling information for reports and meetings, and supporting day-to-day program operations across the division.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership, internal staff, and external agencies as needed.
  • Handle travel arrangements, maintain expense documentation, and support general office functions.
