About The Position

As an Admin Intern in the Trustworthy Technology Lab at Duke University, you will play a meaningful role in launching new research initiatives within the Duke Initiative for Science & Society. You’ll collaborate with faculty, staff, and students from diverse disciplines to advance research that strengthens trust in technology and its impact on society. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape brand-new research projects from the ground up. You’ll take initiative, lead with curiosity, and contribute to high-impact work in areas such as open-source technology, privacy, and cybersecurity. Responsibilities

• Help initiate and launch a trustworthy technology research project
• Recruit, onboard, and support a multidisciplinary team of student researchers
• Coordinate project activities in partnership with the Lab’s Program Coordinator
• Contribute to high-impact publications, blogs, presentations, and other communications
• Support the transition of projects to student researchers after the initial launch period
