About The Position

Heartline Staffing, strategic talent partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Administrative Director of Emergency Services to provide executive leadership oversight for a high-volume Emergency Services network. The Administrative Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered emergency care through leadership of multiple Emergency Department sites and functional areas. This role drives operational performance, strategic initiatives, policy development, and cultural alignment while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across Emergency Services. The Administrative Director is responsible for emergency department operations, throughput optimization, patient experience outcomes, staffing models, and leadership development. This role partners closely with senior clinical and executive leadership to support organizational objectives, quality outcomes, and service line growth.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years recent Acute Care Emergency Department Director-level experience
Multi-site Emergency Department leadership experience preferred
Freestanding Emergency Department leadership experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Proven accountability for Emergency Department performance metrics
Experience managing large teams, budgets, and operational workflows
Strong strategic planning, collaboration, and change management skills
