About The Position

The Administrative Director, Client Services directs all client-facing IT projects, Helpdesk operations, and multi-campus Helpdesk workflows. This role leads IT strategic planning and uses data-driven decision-making to align departmental goals with institutional priorities. The position supervises, recruits, and evaluates a diverse team of 15+ staff across Desktop, Helpdesk, and Media Services, cultivating a high-performing workplace by modeling Goal 9 values—input, respect, and transparency—while fostering continuous professional development. The role owns the full lifecycle of all IT assets, including annual hardware refreshes (computers, printers, and classroom AV) and secure disposal, and manages enterprise OS deployments, imaging, updates, and software licensing compliance. Additionally, the Administrative Director oversees the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all client hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals), provides cross-functional support for Infrastructure, Information Systems, and educational technologies like the Canvas LMS, and manages annual operating budgets and purchasing processes. The role also involves identifying and delivering technology training for students, faculty, and staff to maximize the ROI of the college’s technology investments. A key aspect of this role is to support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute, fostering a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, or Psychology).
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience within a large-scale information technology organization, including direct supervisory experience of technical teams.
