About The Position

Port Elevator is part of American Elevator Group (AEG), the largest independent elevator service company in North America, consisting of a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating throughout the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking for an experienced Administrative Coordinator to work in the New Columbia, PA office. The Administrative Coordinator will coordinate all administrative tasks required by the finance and management offices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to execute directions accurately and with speed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Ability to operate or to quickly learn a variety of communications systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks involving maintenance contract renewals, working directly with the Maintenance and Construction departments
  • Adeptly uses multi-line telephone system and other communications methods and networks.
  • Perform administrative tasks for management and to support the office.
  • Communicate directly with customers so accounts are updated in a timely manner.
  • Assist the mechanics in completed their time tickets in the system to ensure proper pay.
  • Enter and update information in computer databases.
  • Work directly with the Finance department to keep customer accounts current and updated, as necessary.
  • Assist the dispatchers upon their absence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
