About The Position

SPR’s Non-Concessional Lending Division (NL) is looking for an experienced and motivated Administrative Coordinator. The selected candidate will work together with one or more other Administrative Coordinators under the supervision of the division chief and deputies and will provide administrative and organizational support to the staff in the division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the workflow of the unit; including monitoring the flow of information and keeping track of shifting priorities. The position is one of multi-tasking and some of the tasks will include monitoring the unit’s busy work agenda and action items and ensuring deadlines are met; proof-reading all documents and transmitting for review and to Management and the Board; scheduling and preparing meetings; processing reviews through eReview (country and policy); processing travel arrangements and expense reports.

Requirements

  • Completion of a high school diploma, or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
  • External candidates must have had at least two (2) of the six required years of experience in a lead role
  • Strong administrative, technological, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Fund practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with Fund software applications, particularly Word and Excel, and systems, including PeopleSoft FINPROD and HRPROD
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and especially as part of a team
  • Must be flexible with regards to working hours
  • Willing to work overtime at short notice
  • Currently residing in the Washington DC metro area
