UCF's Department of Modern Languages & Literatures (MLL) seeks applications for an Administrative Coordinator II. Located in the main office of MLL, the Administrative Coordinator II will work directly with the Chair of Modern Languages & Literatures in all aspects of department operations, serving as a key administrative partner with input at the strategic level, and holds responsibility for the administrative coordination of the department’s two graduate programs. The Administrative Coordinator II oversees all administrative functions of this department of over 50 faculty members (full-time and adjunct) and Graduate Teaching Assistants and supervises a team of 3–4 student assistants. This position is also responsible for understanding, applying, and ensuring compliance with all UCF rules, policies, and procedures related to office operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with experience in higher education who takes ownership of their areas of responsibility and thrives in a fast-paced academic setting. This individual is confident navigating complex processes, managing ongoing and cyclical responsibilities, and supporting multicultural student and faculty populations.
