Requirements

  • Three years of experience in administrative services.
  • Possess a valid Louisiana Driver's License.
  • Clear a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Probation and Parole District Manager by answering calls, directing inquiries, preparing correspondence, and compiling information from various sources.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks including copying, filing, scanning, data entry, mail distribution, and operation of standard office equipment.
  • Assist with onboarding and separations, maintain personnel files, support employees with Performance Planning documents, and help with payroll functions such as reviewing CATS entries, certifying timesheets, and preparing prior-period adjustments.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for onsite visits and assist with the initial documentation for Workers’ Compensation and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) cases.
  • Prepare and enter purchase orders, track expenses, and support inventory control processes.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance for state automobiles by working with shops and dealerships.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by the Regional Manager or administration, including interviewing youth and families when needed.
  • Attend required agency training and perform other related duties to support office operations.
