This position involves performing general clerical duties in accordance with the office procedures of the facility. The Administrative Clerk is responsible for handling front office reception and general administrative tasks. This includes serving visitors, vendors, and other outside guests by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately, as well as notifying facility personnel of their arrival. The role also requires maintaining security by following established procedures, such as monitoring the guest logbook and issuing visitor badges when necessary. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with supply vendors to ensure the office is well-stocked, answering and transferring telephone calls or taking messages, handling facility inquiries, providing general information, sorting and delivering incoming mail, sending outgoing mail, and copying, filing, and updating both paper and electronic documents.
