Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of professional administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Suite products.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills in person and via technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PPATS and EMARS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Train, assign, provide direction, review work products, provide feedback, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Provide guidance and information to the agencies regarding capital construction, IT, and equipment project implementation.
  • Prepare and/or review status reports for management, Office of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs (OLRA), Finance, and Legislative Research Commission (LRC) on all projects.
  • Work with the state's accounting system, eMars, to monitor project expenses.
  • Coordinate and develop the Cabinet's six-year Capital Plan in conjunction with each agency and management.
  • Oversee all work for each agency to ensure any capital project is being established, completed, and is within budget.
  • Coordinate the KBUD entries for Facilities Management Branch and Leasing Design Branch.
  • Coordinate and prepare the Real Property Closing Package. Review and maintain Branch policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned.
