The Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs is seeking an Administrative Branch Manager. Located in the Louisville area; The Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs provides comprehensive services for children and youth with special health care needs through newborn hearing screening, early intervention, pediatric specialty clinics, service coordination, case management, therapies, and family support. The Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs collaborates with community stakeholders across the Commonwealth to ensure comprehensive services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Develops and updates internal procedures. Provides training to ensure quality. Approves time, leave requests, and completes performance appraisals on assigned staff. Maintains compliance with personnel guidelines and state regulations. Initiates disciplinary action appropriately. Notifies manager and Human Resource Liaison on human resource-related issues. Fosters a diverse and inclusive work environment. Responsible for all payment functions of OCSHCN and the orderly and timely processing of all expenditure authorized by OCSHCN. Payment documents are prepared according to purchasing guidelines. Responsible for pre- auditing invoices, resolving billing conflicts, and the timely payment of valid OCSHCN obligations. Monitors billing, accounts receivable, and medical insurance claims with the vendor. Acts as the liaison between claims vendor and families for processing claims billing functions for OCSHCN. Respectfully communicates with vendors and families to resolve issues and concerns. Oversee contracts, purchasing, and the ordering of equipment, supplies, and other items as required by OCSHCN. Maintains inventory. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Five years of professional administrative experience.
  • Strong self‑motivation and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Flexible, analytical, and solution oriented.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and team‑building abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced in file and records management.
  • Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
