This role provides essential support to the Admissions Director and focuses on customer service. The position involves completing admission packets, welcoming new residents, and assisting with the planning and execution of community events. It offers a great learning opportunity in admissions and plays a key role in helping to reduce grievances. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, caregivers, and staff, both in person and over the phone. Responsibilities include answering calls, triaging patient/family calls to clinical staff, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The position also involves completing reports, assisting with referrals, entering data into tracking systems, preparing medical records and other packets, filing records, stocking supplies, managing faxes, and providing backup to other administrative staff. Additionally, the role is responsible for tracking patient certifications, assisting the Admissions Office with referrals, managing admission, transfer, death, and discharge communications, tracking and ordering printed materials, assisting with the survey process and data upload, preparing patient documentation, verifying and documenting patient insurance information, archiving records, and processing payroll as needed.
