The Administrative Associate III, under general supervision, provides complex administrative support work. This role involves a wide range of administrative tasks including word processing, desktop publishing, presentation, and data management activities, as well as assisting staff with these applications. The associate will be responsible for composing and editing correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations, and for creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases. Key duties also include managing office communications by greeting visitors, answering and screening calls, providing information and referrals, and scheduling appointments. The position requires handling mail services, researching administrative requirements for programs, and providing technical information on administrative procedures. The Administrative Associate III will apply, interpret, and communicate policies, maintain various records, process documents, and arrange meetings, conferences, and travel. They will also manage office supplies and equipment, monitor departmental inventory, and coordinate with Property Management. The role may involve coordinating and supervising student workers and support staff, collaborating with administrative staff in other departments, and participating in university administrative meetings and training.
